It’s a reflection of our Culture. We create the innovation necessary for the Lunar Quest by valuing the diverse experience and viewpoints that push us beyond convention.
First step
The more skills you bring to the table, the better — but building a fulfilling career starts with passion. It’s hard to thrive in a role that doesn’t excite you. Before you dive into the application we recommend taking an often overlooked first step: focus on yourself.
Your Resume
Its tempting to quickly update a general resume with your latest experience and send it off, but we encourage a more tailored approach. Carefully review the job description, identify the key skills and align your relevant experience to match them. This strengthens your application.
Location
If you are considering applying for positions in Japan, we encourage you to take the time to thoroughly research various aspects of life in Japan, including language, cost of living, tax obligagions and more. Reflect on whether this is truly the right path for you before moving forward.
Nationality
ispace operates in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Japan’s export control regulations. Successful candidates must meet the nationality requirements of these regulations and ispace reserves the right to request proof of nationality during the recruitment process.
Apply Online
When your resume is ready, please submit it online. Due to the number of applications we receive we unfortunately cannot respond to all applicants.
Interviews
Initial screening :
Our recruiting team will check your resume and if it aligns with the role you’ve applied for, you will move forward in our hiring process. To comply with Japan’s export control regulations, we may inquire about your nationality during the screening stage.
First interview:
We want to learn more about you, your background, experiences and motivation. For engineering positions, this may include a technical interview with a panel of experts relevant to the role. For overseas candidates, moving to Japan is a significant commitment and we want to ensure you’re taking this seriously.
Second interview:
Your experience, potential, previous accomplishments and soft skills are all evaluated in detail. Make sure you research our mission and values beforehand as this will be part of the discussion.
Final interview :
In the final interview, a senior leader will assess your long term potential and overall cultural fit with our organization.
Decision and Offer
Once your interviews are complete, we’ll carefully review your application and interview feedback to make the final decision.
Perks
If you’re new to Japan or already here, we will support you with visa assistance, 24 hour Japanese interpretation support by phone and financial support for learning Japanese. If you’re relocating, we also offer a relocation package with accommodation support.
