ispace Announces Mission 1 Launch Schedule Update

Now Scheduled to launch on November 30, 2022

TOKYO—November 25, 2022— ispace, inc., a global lunar exploration company, released an updated launch schedule for its Mission 1 (M1) lunar lander, now scheduled to liftoff from SLC-40 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Nov. 30, 2022, at the earliest. The M1 lander, part of a the HAKUTO-R lunar exploration program, will launch on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

The updated schedule is the result of launch constraints such as unfavorable weather conditions that impacted launches from the designated launch pad.
